Swap process
You confirm every wallet action. ZDEX coordinates quote validation and settlement status without holding your keys or an internal balance.
For Buy, select a supported EVM stablecoin and connect its wallet. For Sell, choose Ethereum USDT or USDC as the payout asset; a quote preview does not require a Zcash wallet connection.
Buy requires a Zcash Mainnet t1, t3, or shielded-capable u1 destination. Sell requires an Ethereum payout address and a Zcash Mainnet t1, t3, or shielded-capable u1 refund address.
An available provider returns expected output, minimum output, fees, and expiry. The server then revalidates the amount, address, wallet, and privacy policy.

Buy is confirmed from your EVM wallet. Sell presents a validated Zcash payment request for the exact native ZEC amount. ZDEX cannot sign for you or store wallet keys.
After the source payment is confirmed, the cross-chain route delivers native ZEC or the selected Ethereum stablecoin. The order page follows confirmations and refund states.
Exception path
The order enters the refund flow and eligible assets return to the verified refund address for that direction. Refunds may take time and incur network fees.
Order recovery
The access token stays only in this browser. A public transaction reference can show public status, but never exposes wallet addresses or other private order data.
Privacy is contextual—not a slogan.
Stablecoin approvals and payments for Buy, and stablecoin payouts for Sell, can be observed on their EVM network.
Buy payouts to shielded-capable u1 addresses and refunds to u1 can use shielded receivers. Buy t1/t3 outputs and Sell deposit addresses remain transparent, so their addresses and amounts are public. Provider, EVM, IP, and timing metadata may still correlate activity.

We never request a Zcash private key, seed phrase, Spending Key, or Viewing Key, and do not upload recent addresses as a contact list.
